In summer, from January through March, water temperatures generally range between 18 and 21°C, which many locals consider swimmable on a warm, settled day. During autumn, the sea usually sits between 16 and 19°C. Winter brings cooler conditions, often around 13 to 15°C, while spring sees a gradual rise from roughly 14 up to 17°C. Strong westerlies or large swells can mix the water and create short-term temperature changes.
